Job Description:

Job Description
    To provide compliance support and advice within the Securities Compliance department in London.
Specifically to:
Provide compliance support to European FI Coverage; Financial Institutions Solutions Group; Credit Sales and Trading, FI Syndicate, FIG & FIPS, RMBS, Strategic Transactions Group and GMAG.

Interpret and provide advice on applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Provide regular training to the business areas covered.
Conduct daily trade surveillance and follow up exceptions identified.
Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and exchange requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Investigate and respond to regulatory enquiries.
    
    You will need:
Education
Essential:  Educated to graduate level.
Desirable:  Relevant professional or industry qualification.

Work Experience
Essential:  Relevant previous experience in the financial services industry, at an investment bank, regulator or exchange.

Technical business skills
Essential:  Good oral, written and presentation skills, thorough and methodical approach, exercises sound judgement. Knowledge of FSA / exchange rules and regulations.
Desirable: Minimum 1 year’s compliance experience of related products
