Position Summary:
Responsible for directing and providing coordination & oversight of the Business & Regulatory Compliance functions and initiatives. Must have the ability to establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure adherence to federal and state laws as well as Citigroup corporate compliance policy and procedures. Ensure proactive analysis and trends are performed by the Risk Assessment and Lending Initiatives testing groups and that results are used in a proactive manner to assist management in formulating appropriate policy decisions. Provide recommendations and escalation of issues to Senior Management and manage implementation of approved enhancements& initiatives. The ideal candidate will have or can quickly acquire an understanding of risks in the Credit Card industry and grasp the breadth of activities in a Risk Management function that is focused on credit and fraud policy development. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to employ the following competencies: Build Trust, Foster Team-work, Facilitate Change and Drive for Results. Strong analytical, written/verbal communication and relationship building skills is a must.
Responsibilities:

    * Development and implementation of Risk policies
    * Development & planning for COB
    * Managing all aspects of reviews in accordance with ARR standards and government and Regulatory statutes
    * Identifying risks and control issues through business monitoring, reporting
    * Developing strong working relationships w/ key business managers, KPMG and regulators

Qualifications
 
Education/Experience:
BA/BS or equivalent.
5+ years of business experience
Knowledge:
Industry knowledge coupled with project management experience and a quantitative background.
Abilities & Skills:
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
•Recognized expert in one or more of the corporation's businesses and has in depth understanding of the inter-relationships of business and support units
• Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, and relationship building skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of audit/risk assessment techniques and principles.
• Strong leadership, people management and development skills.
