Level: Principal Associate



Job Description :
Serves as one of the IT InfoSec's three Network Enterprise Architects, providing subject matter expertise on security issues within the networking arena (routers, switches, firewalls and other network related devices). This individual will:

1. Assist in maintaining the corporate network technical security standards, providing input when security-related events require changes to existing standards or when research is required to generate new standards.
2. Assist in monitoring vendor and industry alerts for network device vulnerability/patch issues (currently includes Cisco and Check Point products), and prepare enterprise security patch notices when applicable
3. Assist in running enterprise-wide security compliance scans, measuring compliance to the corporate network technical security standards and required security patch installations.
4. Assist in maintaining the enterprise-wide network-device security compliance scanner.
5. Assist in running enterprise-wide network-device security vulnerability scans, measuring compliance to the corporate network device security standards.
6. Assist in measuring domain control devices (firewall rule sets, router ACLs, etc.) for compliance to corporate domain control boundary standards.
7. Assist in enterprise-wide VPN concentrator compliance checks.
8. Assist in consolidation of enterprise-wide Warwalk program reporting.

Required Qualifications :
1. Router and switch administration experience, with experience concentrated on Cisco devices.
2. Firewall application administration experience, with experience concentrated on Check Point and Pix devices.
3. Firewall platform administration experience, with experience concentrated on Nokia IPSO, and SPLAT / Secure Platform devices.
4. Experience with Perl, Expect, Bash scripting.
5. Experience with *nix operating systems (Red Hat Linux & Solaris)

Preferred Qualifications :
1. CISSP, CCNA, Technical Security Certifications are preferred
2. Bachelor's Degree is preferred
3. MySQL experience a plus
