Job Description:

Typically has 5+ years workout/commercial loan experience. Reports to a Commercial Special Assets (CSA) Manager or Market Manager. Loans managed are usually more complex credits. Experience includes knowledge of bankruptcy law, workout strategies, commercial credit analysis, structuring and market dynamics. May have credit approval authority designated based on experience. Assists the CSA Manager or Market Manager in collection, expense, asset quality, and other goal setting along with various personnel functions, and will often serve as a secondary point of internal and external communications.

Qualifications


Required Skills:

College degree or comparable work related experience. Knowledge of all types of documentation for lien perfections. Working knowledge of bankruptcy. Ability to analyze financial statements. Needs to have extensive negotiation skills. Working knowledge of loan structuring on ARs, inventory, equipment, other commercial transactions, SBA, Real Estate, Asset Based Lending and capital financing. Working knowledge of bank products such as Treasury Management, Derivatives, Swaps, Sweep accounts, DDA deposits. Working knowledge of compliance and legal related issues. Previous management of direct reports and/or management experience. Must exhibit all of Bank of America core values.



Desired Skills:
Should be highly motivated, self starter with strong advancement potential. Should have good negotiation skills as well as being able to manage multiple tasks. Having a background in SBA underwriting, documentation, and collection processing is desired. Bankruptcy and business law knowledge, complex commercial lending, and/or underwriting and structuring skills and market dynamics. Word and Excel skills are useful.
