The Senior Collector works in the Collections/Risk Operations environment and will typically work in a number of specialized collections areas, including e-gate, or recovery collections. They work in multiple stages of delinquency, up to and including charged off accounts, or across various product types. The Senior Collector handles extensive research requirements for more complex billing problems and inquiries and has extensive knowledge of the organization, products or services, as well as advanced problem solving skills. The Senior Collector sometimes coaches other less experienced collectors on policies, procedures or problem solving.



Job Posting Description (JPD):


As a Senior Collector for Bank of America you would be responsible for working in a number of specialized collections areas, including escalation gate or recovery collections. The Sr. Collector will respond to incoming phone calls regarding a variety of loss mitigation processes. You will also be responsible for collecting on delinquent accounts ranging from 1-119 days delinquent utilizing Loss Mitigation tools to assist customers in need of financial assistance. You will resolve diverse issues and be responsible for working in multiple stages of delinquency, up to and including charged off accounts as well as across various product types. The Senior Collector handles extensive research requirements for more complex billing problems and inquiries and has extensive knowledge of the organization, products or services, as well as advanced problem solving skills. The Senior Collector sometimes coaches other less experienced collectors on policies, procedures or with problem solving. You will ensure compliance with federal laws and company guidelines in order to minimize loan losses and legal concerns.

Desired Skills:
  • Mortgage and/or Home Equity Line of Credit collections experience
  • Systems: CROSS, MSP, ALS, RMS, CACS, Loan Recovery, BOSS
