Our Aon Enterprise Risk Management practice has a career opportunity for a Senior Consultant/Risk Consulting in our Chicago office. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Establishes and maintains solid relationships with decision makers at several client accounts and influential colleagues.
- Establishes credibility with clients and colleagues; recognized as an effective problem solver.
- Delivers quality products and services to clients or colleagues, work product consistently meets expectations for accuracy and appearance.
- Delivers on commitments to clients and colleagues, meets both internal and client deadlines.
- Works effectively with client team members and colleagues; supports and encourages collaboration within the unit or with other Aon resources.
- Communicates with team members in a constructive manner, regularly provides unsolicited feedback.
- Ensures compliance with internal Aon business requirements, personally and for direct reports.
- Develops people by providing ongoing coaching & feedback, provides opportunities for others to increase knowledge and responsibilities.
- Holds direct reports accountable for their performance; effectively leads/manages others to produce results.
- Effectively participates in successful execution of at least one strategic initiative during the year.
- Applies & translates new concepts to improve functioning of the team.
- Develops new, creative and more efficient approaches to deliver client results; shares innovations freely and uses new approaches developed by colleagues.
- Develops multiple areas of expertise within the industry/profession.
- Uses existing knowledge management tools to share innovations and thought developments; regularly accesses knowledge tools to stay abreast of developments shared by colleagues.
- Contributes to the development of ERM Intellectual Capital to be leveraged by the internal team for practice visibility and to support sales activities
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree desired
- Basic understanding of ERM frameworks, and is able to apply ERM knowledge to develop and implement solutions for clients
- Prior consulting experience highly desired
- Ability to interact and communicate with c-level executives
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
