POSITION DESCRIPTION The CoB Compliance Officer will help support one or more CoB programs and act as a point-of-contact for COB related activity within ICG Tech. CoB Control Officers are primarily responsible for mitigating CoB risk, monitoring processes and ensuring that standards are adhered to throughout the organization. The role will report to the ICG Tech CoB Sr. Manager.
DEVELOPMENT (WHAT WILL YOU LEARN BY DOING THIS JOB)
In this role you will develop your program leadership skills as well as leverage your CoB expertise across critical business continuity risk issues. You will significantly strengthen your negotiation skills, matrix management skills and your understanding of system resiliency and the assigned business clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
· Primary responsibilities include the development/maintenance of strategic continuity plans.
· Quality review process of the organization's CoB plans to further develop consistency and full resiliency.
· Coordinate functional, denial-of -access tests and ensure compliance adherence for organization.
· Maintain a crisis management plan for ICG Tech senior management.
· Leverage partnership and alliances with respective business clients, directs, project managers, developers, technology infrastructure personnel, business continuity personnel and global compliance channel peers
· Perform compliance related requirements and ensure corrective action plans are closed within required timeframes.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES (WHAT WILL "SUCCESS" LOOK LIKE IN 12 MONTHS)
· Full compliance with sector and corporate polices and procedures, in a consistent format
· Consistent continuity programs and processes for critical recovery initiatives implemented across ICG Tech
· Standard reporting and metrics processes for tracking continuity initiatives
· Be part of a strong team of CoB Coordinators directly involved/partnering with business clients, directs, project managers, developers, technology infrastructure personnel, business continuity personnel and global compliance channel peers.
Qualifications
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS (KEY COMPETENCIES, MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS)
· Business continuity and audit/compliance/controls experience
· Leadership and program management experience
· Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
· Strong management and interpersonal skills
· Strong technology background/ production support experience a plus
· Superior verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent influencing skills
5-7 years project/ program management and or compliance experience required, with a BS/BA degree minimum, Disaster Recovery Certification (DRI) preferred.
