Job Description
The Compliance Reporting Department within the Worldwide Securities Services division is responsible for monitoring the adherence of Fund Managers to the investment guidelines and restrictions contained within Investment Management agreements and regulatory guidelines. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, this role is responsible for producing investment compliance reports and investigating fund manager non-conformity to investment Restrictions and guidelines.
 
Key Responsibilities will include:

    * Production and analysis of Compliance reports for WSS clients across the APAC region (including Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan)
    * Responsibility for the management of  a dedicated set of clients, ensuring all SLAs are met, quarterly review meetings are conducted, strong client relationships are built and maintained
    * Investigate investment guideline breaches with the investment manager to assist the client in the breach resolution process
    * Developing, improving and implementing procedural documentation and controls with an eye to risk mitigation and process improvement
    * Participation in business wide and team specific projects & initiatives

Qualifications
The successful candidate will:

    * Have worked or are currently working in a Fund Services environment (with experience in fund accounting and knowledge of Hi-Portfolio and WINS is preferred but not essential)
    * Demonstrate an excellent knowledge and understanding of financial instruments and their usage within the investment portfolio, including the effective exposure calculation of derivative instruments
    * Excellent PC skills, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
    * Tertiary Degree Qualified
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    * Builds client relationships - proactively demonstrates customer focus by handling varied levels/complexities of client contacts and issues
    * Supports, drives and influences the goals and strategies of the business by taking initiative and engaging others
    * Continuously looks for ways to improve productivity and performance
    * Effectively handle simultaneous demands and priorities
    * Build Strategic Working Relationship
