Job Description JPMorgan Asset Management is looking to hire a seasoned professional as Operations Manager for Guideline Compliance and Monitoring, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk Services. This position will be responsible for supporting critical risk functions including investment guideline compliance, providing leadership to drive process improvements, dashboard reporting and monitoring, and implementing changes to the existing operating model. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming the current operation into a forward-looking team capable of identifying leading risk indicators for Guideline compliance. Responsibilities include:
* Direct next day investment guideline compliance process including management of on the ground resources. Develop and implement necessary controls to improve current processes.
* Responsible for managing resolution of alerts, breaches, and escalation processes, providing management of the team to ensure all agreed upon goals and deliverables are met on time. Develop and implement SLAs to improve quality.
* Develop appropriate infrastructure and risk information tools to provide business unit-aligned risk managers and senior leaders in various businesses a full range of informational needs to generate early assessment of potential risks.
* Partnering with the business leaders to define, prioritize and achieve the short and longer term control improvements for Guideline Monitoring.
* Ensuring regular, timely and frequent communication for ongoing management status and issues, opening up communication channels, escalation procedures.
* Managing the workloads of staff, proactively identifying and resolving issues that would present a risk to on-time implementation of process improvements, controls, reporting.

* Execution - demonstrated ability to implement change and new processes. * Analytical and problem solving skills. * Excellent written and oral communication/demonstrated ability to interact with most senior levels of management. * Re-engineering and Change Management depth: demonstrated success in driving significant change programs and can point to the specific positive business impact of such. * Ability to synthesize and encapsulate varying degrees of complex information/data for utilization across various levels, including executive management, line management, operations, and the Portfolio Managers. * Interpersonal skills, such as influencing and negotiating. * Has worked within a highly complex client support environment. * Global experience - has managed team across multiple countries.
