Overall Job Purpose To manage the delivery of Performance Development and Management System for Barclays Shared ServiceContribute to the development and implementation of BSS-wide reward initiatives that helps foster the Intrinsic "reward" elements that contribute to Internal value or motivation of employees. Technical Skills/Competencies - Strong effective communicator in writing, business presentations and in interpersonal communication. - Proficient in managing multiple short and long term projects , ability to negotiate, influence, facilitate & collaborate with peers and senior leadership - Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and record management abilities. - Visual Spatial / aesthetic skills Knowledge & Expertise Personal - Performance driven and results orientated, supportive, customer aware, collaborative team-worker, as well as politically sensitive and astute, both internally & externally, adaptable to responding to changing business priorities & responsibilities. - Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills. - Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality and common sense. - Has the ability to synergize the efforts of team of diverse HR professionals, towards attainment of common goal like PD cycles. - Demonstrated ability to continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution while being cost-sensitive. Commitment to continuous learning. - Ability to work / perform in an environment of constant change , and control - Experience in handling multiple locations and/or globally is a plus. - Aptitude to coach and train effectively. Specific Job Skills - Ability to resolve issues, Align individual goals to Organizational Goals, Skilled in Communication, Comprehension, Composition and Problem solving skills. - Sound knowledge of external best practice across all aspects of reward management - Good understanding of the ITES or Finance Service industry and its most recent governance requirement with particular relevance to Reward Experience/Qualification Education - Graduate (preferably in disciplines of Mass comm., English ) ; or - Post Graduate in Human Resources Essential - Experience in operational management of reward programs or Performance Management ; or - Experience of the Financial Services or ITES industry Preferred - Experience in using IT packages such as Excel
- Knowledge of reward infrastructure (principles, policies, practices and governance) to support a fast growing international business |
