| Job Description: |
The selected candidate will manage the disposition of a portfolio of real estate owned assets. This person reviews appraisals and broker price opinions and establishes market values and market strategies to sell assets in a manner which maximizes recovery and minimizes expenses while in compliance with established policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions Include:
Responsible for the marketing and sale of real property after foreclosure or deed in lieu process to ensure maximum financial recovery of the outstanding balance.
Develop real estate marketing strategies and monitor expenses relative to established budgets/strategies to sell properties in a defined territory and meet departmental, team, and individual goals.
Effectively negotiate sales contract terms and conditions to maximize recovery targets and performance goals.
Support and assist in the implementation of department, corporate, and team initiatives targeting improvements in processes, operational effectiveness, cost reduction, and team problem solving.
Assist in the closing process as required in order to achieve sales goals.
Special projects as requested by management.
Manage vendors and identify potential fraud.
Manage daily task reports to ensure timely completion and follow-up on tasks.
Comply with all departmental and corporate policies.
Basic Requirements:
- College Degree or 4 years work experience.
- 1 year experience in REO asset management, mortgage default servicing, loan originations or Real Estate Sales.
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Preferred Requirements:
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Possess excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and operate multiple in-house technology systems and vendor software applications
