Description
The Analyst will primarily be responsible for the Proprietary Employee Trading Supervision System ("PETSS"), as well as a staff of six employees. The PETSS Analyst will use and maintain an Access database for workflow and storage purposes and must be able to generate reports, oversee entitlement changes, perform data analysis, and provide complaint support, troubleshooting, new development and training. In addition, the Analyst will act as the project manager in coordinating projects involving the automation of manual processes, the migration of the existing database to a new platform, and the implementation of an initiative currently in process. The Analyst will support aspects of planning and executing projects to assist the Firm in complying with regulatory and legal requirements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a computer systems background with 2-3 years industry or other relevant work experience with a strong affinity to the logic of computer programs and databases. Control or Compliance experience is a plus. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong software proficiency will be expected (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and a willingness to work with new technologies and applications is required. The ideal candidate must also
