Job Description
Responsibilities of a Sr. Compliance Analyst within Chase Home Lending's Correspondent channel includes, but are not limited to:
* Receiving and canceling loans, using the current HMDA and other State and Federal regulations
* Validating or correcting compliance data prior to cancellation of loans
* Conduct High Cost and UAT testing, as well as other state required testing
* Perform post-funding reviews, for federal and state related compliance items
* Reporting any funding errors or systemic glitches to the Compliance Supervisor
* Contact correspondents by phone to obtain missing or incorrect compliance documentation prior to canceling/testing loans
* Cross-train and rotate responsibilities of High Cost, and other compliance-related reports, and duties such as file flow, tracking and retention
* Special project as requested by Management
Qualifications
* Must have 2-3 years of mortgage operations experience
* Federal and State Compliance knowledge is strongly preferred
* File cancellation, high cost and compliance testing experience is highly desired
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong PC skills with solid proficiency in MS Office
* Strong data keying skills with excellent accuracy
* Able to work independently
* Ability to manage deadlines
* Ability to multi-task
* Must be able to follow verbal and written directions
* Commitment to excellence
* Compliance work experience a plus
