Senior Director
Lead Originations and Customer Management for the Customer Lines and Loans Business. This business provides multiple personal lending product options to Capital One customers via Branch and Direct channels. Responsible for product design, segmentation, marketing, and channel strategy development and execution. Responsible for balancing growth and risk, delivering earnings, and coordinating with other Capital One business units. Will build, lead, and develop a cross-discipline team to perform all tasks to manage the business in compliance with legal, compliance, and credit rules. There will be additional ad hoc duties as a member of the Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strateg y across multiple products and channels to ensure Capital One is achieving its fair share of the lending wallet with our customers Partner across the Customer Lines and Loans business as well as with other businesses within Capital One so as to successfully drive execution of strategies.
- Develop frameworks, commission and oversee research projects, design and conduct testing to gain consumer and credit risk insight.
- Conduct duties as a Credit Officer to ensure strategies that are compliant with policy, robust to risk, and deliver compelling risk-adjusted returns
- Lead and Manage 3-5 direct reports, and through them a broader organization
- Manage analytical work
- Present strategic recommendations to senior executives
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in any quantitative field (business, math, economics, finance, statistics, science, engineering)
- 2 Years experience in Credit risk
- 2 Years experience in People management
- 2 Years experience in Quantitative analysis
- 2 Years experience in Business development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Engineering, Management or Finance
- PMP, CFA, FRM, CPA
- 2 Years experience in Strategic consulting
- 5 Years experience in Credit risk
- 5 Years experience in People management
