Job Purpose



  • Work closely with Relationship Team focusing on the delivery of high quality service to a wide range of Corporate Banking customers.

  • Dedicated point of telephony contact for servicing needs of Corporate Banking customers.

  • Build trust and confidence and reliable support for Corporate Banking Customers.

  • Generate leads to support sales activity within the team.

  • Provide expert support and advice to customers and colleagues.

  • Embed operational rigour and compliance principles

  • Maintain a customer contact history, recording and updating relevant accurate detail.


Servicing 80 %%3C/I>



  • Respond to servicing requests received from Customers, as well as those from other business areas and third parties.

  • Support the delivery of world-class service by providing excellent customer servicing and transactional processing.

  • Act as an experienced point of contact for technical and procedural queries.

  • Actively identify opportunities for customers to transfer their servicing needs too more efficient and cost effective self serve channels.

  • Ensure the effective and efficient initiation of new products.

  • Work closely with the rest of the Team providing mutual support by training, coaching and sharing knowledge of best practice.

  • Handling inbound and handoff calls, delivering a personalised telephony service, which resolves customer queries and identifies needs

  • Capture customer information during calls to develop understanding of their needs, updating relevant systems with data.

  • Be aware of direct competitor activity, products and servicing channels

  • Overcome customer objections and manage complaints in accordance with agreed Group procedures

  • Continually adhere to current practices and procedures.

  • Take responsibility for keeping self up to date with relevant compliance and rigour issues affecting the role.

  • Undertake all necessary compliance tests and maintain own compliance passport.

  • Maintain all aspects of data integrity and recording.

  • Be accountable for self-development. (using support colleagues and Team Leaders where necessary.

  • Demonstrate and contribute to the team culture & values, ensuring a positive working environment is maintained.



Essential



  • Excellent planning, organisation and an eye for detail.

  • Proficient in use of internal computer systems including Intranet, E-mail, Customer System, OverQuota and any other platform applications


Preferred



  • Proficient in providing good quality sales leads.
