Citi Private Equity Services is the leading provider of accounting, financial reporting, administration, consulting, and tax services to the private equity sector.  Through relationships with approximately 100 key sponsors, Citi administers approximately 600 private equity funds with invested capital of more than $80 billion.  We support a broad range of private equity funds, including buyout, venture, real estate, mezzanine debt, fund of funds, secondary, co-investment, employee plans and carried interest plans.
 
Primary Responsibilities and Requirements
 
The Compliance & Administration Manager will be responsible compliance management of the Citi Private Equity Services Group.  They must be fully knowledgeable of assigned product / functional area and have a thorough understanding of their area of responsibility as well as a broad understanding of the entire compliance function.  Expected to assist in developing compliance policy and providing support to the business units with respect to business developments and enhancing engagement of compliance by the business. In conjunction with management, may develop, recommend and/or execute business plans for area of responsibility.  The C&A Manager will also work with the Chief Operating Officer in responding to ad hoc business requests.  This work will involves understanding the issue being raised or the opportunity being presented and developing and implementing a plan for addressing these areas.  The work will require critical judgment of alternatives and the exploration of multiple approaches.
                                                                                    
We are looking for an experienced professional to provide the quality control/report review function for the firm and ensure the quality of services provided to our clients.
 
Specific Responsibilities

·          Understand operating policies and procedures necessary to ensure appropriate organizational decision-making protocols are understood and followed.
·          Develop a relationship with various audit and compliance organizations and work with these organizations to ensure that the business is in compliance with applicable policy and procedures.
·          Interact with GTS Compliance, support and business staff to help ensure that regulatory and other issues are appropriately identified, escalated and dealt with on a coordinated basis and that information is shared appropriately.
·          Liaison with AML Compliance staff to review issues and keep track of and oversee the remediation of AML deficiencies, including CADDs
·          Manage the remediation of CAP
·          Liaison with in-business risk and controls staff
·          General representation of GTS Compliance: at examiner meetings, audits, CMAC reviews, deal reviews, Product Approval Program updates, etc.
·          Work with the COO to respond to and support  special projects
·          Manage the SAS70 review process and ensure the business is adhering to the established policy and procedures
·          Work with the private equity services BISO in address the compliance related items

Qualifications
 
Requirements
·          Knowledgeable of the laws applicable to money laundering, including the Bank Secrecy Act, The USA PATRIOT Act, US Treasury AML guidelines, OFAC requirements, and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements.
·          Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, and must be able to multi-task and complete projects on time.
·          Should be a self-starter and organized, and must have the ability to work independently, without supervision.
·          Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
·          Ability to work well across multiple organizations.  Strong interpersonal skills
·          Strong research skills, advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and experience with the Internet and on-line research systems
·          Strong problem solving skills. Applies creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated situations.
·          Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and make recommendations
·          Demonstrated success in managing multiple deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures
·          Consulting experience a plus
·          Bachelor degree
