| Job Description: |
As a Fiduciary Control Officer will develop a working understanding of the following:
general trust concepts, fiduciary obligations of a trustee, and responsibilities of directors of underlying companies in trust structures, investment policies and strategies applicable to trust structures, administration architectures of standard and complex structure and have an understanding of financial accounting, book-keeping and/or trust accounting concepts
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- reviewing the portfolio performance of trust structures against investment benchmarks, asset allocation strategies and risk thresholds
- monitoring movement of assets in trust structures to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations
Requirements Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- University or Polytechnic graduate with relevant qualifications eg. accounting, ACCA accreditation or similar, Banking/Finance, Legal studies and/or ICSA.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years working experience in an accounting/auditing firm, private trust business or in the financial industry is preferred
- Understanding of financial accounting, book-keeping and/or trust accounting concepts and effective document handling skills
- Effective command of spoken and written English is essential
- Keen to expand beyond accounting/auditing into trust administration work in a wealth management environment with a focus on fiduciary, portfolio and administration review
