We are currently seeking a Business Effectiveness Advisory Senior Manager to join us in our Chicago office.

Business Effectiveness professionals help clients streamline and combine people, processes, technology, and controls to improve operating effectiveness, lower costs, reduce redundancy, and lower risks. The team focuses on physical operations and supply chain management improvements including manufacturing, distribution, logistics, procurement, sourcing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

Help grow our Business Effectiveness practice, including assisting with the development of a business plan, targeting key client accounts, and tracking industry trends, regulations and policies

Lead client engagements and work streams related to new business development strategy and full end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities (product innovation and customer and market requirements through detailed engineering design, release and ending with product support in the aftermarket)

Execute Establish client value propositions that tie financial metrics and CFO focus areas directly to operations business improvement

Help lead proposal development and other new business development activities by leveraging new and existing relationships with C-level executives

Provide oversight of highly skilled client and KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle and help ensure timely execution of project deliverables

Participate in continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings

Manage, motivate and develop team members

Manage multiple concurrent engagement teams

Qualifications:

Eight years client service experience and relevant industry experience, plus experience leading project teams and demonstrated external client development experience

BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university

Experience serving external clients in Product Lifecycle Management in High Tech, Diversified Industrial (Auto and A&D) industries

Fully understand full end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities from product innovation and customer and market requirements through detailed engineering design, release and ending with product support in the aftermarket

Experience with industrial engineering processes, best practices, release to production procedures, as well as tools for workflow and configuration management and software development

Experience in project management and oversight, including supervising staff level engagement teams in the field and providing input into engagement decisions

Exposure to the development of proposals, deliverables and reports

Strong data analysis and /or process mapping skills

Solid presentation and communication skills

Able to travel extensively
