| Job Description: |
-Develop and manage resource plans for various logistics initiatives as needed. -Distribution: Responsible to coordinate the logistics flows & distribution processes between the points of origin until the final delivery to ensure customer satisfaction. -Implement the strategy to reduce overall logistics costs through optimization,Forwarders & Logistics providers consolidation. -Transportation: Responsible for overseen the Transportation operations and been sure the selected forwarders are providing consistently high level services in a cost-effective manner.- -Import /export: Work with Customs, Tax and Legal partners to design, implement and manage processes to ensure compliance with customs & ITC regulations around the world. -Assists with customs audits. Qualifications/Requirements -Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering -Minimum 1 year of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management, transportation, materials management, warehousing and distribution, or supply chain management. -Proven business/financial acumen, influence, solve complex problems, and drive change at all levels of the organization.-Fluent in English and Spanish -Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience to collaborate/ communicate across functions and with others from different counties and cultures. -Proven ability to meet deadline in a fast paced changing environment. -Experience in Customs, Import and Export activities. Desired Characteristics MBA or MS in Logistics, Engineering or Supply Chain Ability to work in a multi-cultural team Able to show intitative and drive Systematic and well-structured in all parts of the working porcess |
