The role includes the following tasks: Our Senior Associates are key members of the Regulator team supporting the delivery of a wide range of assignments. Our regulatory consulting business fits within PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Consulting Practice which has a global network of 6,000 professionals working together to help organisations develop and maintain their competitive edge and improve their performance. 2.1 Degree Qualified Financial Services Experience Successful candidates will have:An excellent grasp of the current regulatory framework and the issues facing regulated firms; A sound knowledge of the key processes and products sold by financial services businesses; The confidence and skill to interpret and discuss the implications of regulatory developments; Practical experience of supporting the delivering of successful regulatory projects and / or change initiatives; The ability to identify opportunities to improve our clients’ businesses; Adaptable and creative approaches to solving client challenges. Responsibilities We are looking for people with relevant Finance experience. Relevant industry experience is preferable, but is not essential. You will be responsible for both being part of delivery teams and potentially leading small PwC and Client delivery workstreams and teams. Amongst others, projects will include: Shared service centres Outsourcing Corporate performance management Management information Process engineering Target operating model design You will be comfortable reporting directly to senior PwC staff, liaising with PwC colleagues across different disciplines and, crucially, you will be comfortable working directly with senior client finance management. You will also support broader business development and market based initiatives, using your knowledge and experience to develop and enhance client propositions Business Skills - Understanding our client's business and showing strong commercial acumen in the seeking out of opportunities and the winning of work. Delivery Skills - The ability to use our industry and technical skills to better deliver practical solutions that are valued by the client. Analytical Skills - Identifying and diagnosing client issues through rigorous analysis, rather than “selling� PwC solutions. Individual, Social and Business Interaction - Flexible in using a range of influencing styles in order to build strong sustainable relationships, and demonstrating the firm's values.
