| Job Description: |
• Develop and implement competitive business proposals leading to improved market share of our diagnostic imaging product lines. • Build solid multi-level business partnerships / relationships with key physicians, accounts, group purchasing organizations, independent healthcare networks, and field and headquarters personnel. • Perform detailed reviews of all field sales reports, headquarters reports, rebate reports, etc. Track market effectively and provide accurate current and forecasts data using information tools available. • Schedule and conduct hospital exhibits, speaker’s presentations, and lunch and learn programs (or other medical programs) based upon company guidelines which support the appropriate use of GE Healthcare products or programs. • Act as a liaison between customers and GE Healthcare to provide statistical, competitive and tracking data to management, marketing, medical and professional services via company approved client relationship management software. • Maximize sales orders, margin, market share, customer satisfaction of given modality and business solutions in assigned area. • Communicate market information effectively to/from the field including competitor data. • Communicate effectively with members of sales/marketing/service team to maximize all sales potential and communicates leads to relevant colleagues. • Generates record and maintain customer profiles, including keeping track of key decision makers. • Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy, Pharma Guidelines, and Anti-Competition laws and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken. • Complete all required Quality Training and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required • Monitor and manage territory expense budgets to achieve quarterly sales attainment and reach national organic (internal) growth objectives. Qualifications/Requirements • Bachelors Degree or High school diploma / GED and a minimum of two years of work experience selling contrast media products. • Experience servicing internal/external customers and a basic understanding of the medical or pharmaceutical industry. • Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences background with technical expertise in modality • Knowledge of market place. • Position requires daily customer site visits along with some overnight travel • Computer proficiency in basic computer programs including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Previously demonstrated skills in Presentations, Selling, Negotiating, & Communication • Previously demonstrated Team working & interpersonal skills • Fluent English. • You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • You must be willing to submit to a drug test and background investigation. • You must be willing to work from a home-based office. Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Desired Characteristics • Sales experience specifically within pharmaceuticals or contrast media. • Advanced Degree • Excellent oral and written communication skills: Presents ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Actively probes for information and listens. Aware of body language. Uses varied styles of interpersonal communication in different situations. • Excellent presentation skills: Develops and articulately delivers compelling, professional formal presentations to group audiences. • Strong business project acumen: Thoroughly documents communications, commitments and actions taken. Includes complete and clear information with project orders to prevent factory delays. Proactively manages projects to customer expectations. • Strong time management and detail orientation: Analyzes and prioritizes opportunities. Successfully balances proactive versus reactive. Maintains high level of customer touch time. Handles multiple tasks quickly without forfeiting quality. Methodically follows up. Able to efficiently process large amounts of information for future use. • Effective ability to motivate and influence actions of others and implement change: create compelling cases to ultimately reach decision makers, position products within competitive market space, gain buy-in, close deals. • Possesses strategizing basics: Creates and communicates a clear, customer-focused and growth-oriented strategy and well-defined action plan for each key account, trade area, and team. Involves all stakeholders, ensures execution. • Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology. • Call points including cardiology, radiology, nuclear medicine departments. • Stable work history • Prior GE Healthcare experience preferred • Candidate currently living within territory preferred (up to one hour away) |
