OVERVIEW To provide professional implementation consultancy services to the SunGard Adaptiv client base with regard to Adaptiv products.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To liaise with client Business Analysts to identify and document client system requirements To analyse existing systems and data and to identify and understand client requirements, recognising and documenting where there is a need for systems enhancements or modifications To formulate detailed functional specifications with appropriate work effort estimations off the back of the client requirements To liaise with SunGard Product Developers & Quantitative Analyst and assist with validation of development work on enhancements to risk methodologies and pricing models To liaise with SunGard Product Developers to assist with validation of technical specifications To provide clients with validation tools on the Adaptiv products functional processes and pricing, profit & loss and risk calculations. This process will also involve the coding of customised functionality (Reech ADEP, C#, SQL, XML and Excel), mathematical risk calculations and the creation of ad-hoc SQL code for database manipulation and interrogation Occasional coding of new processes, file extracts and web pages; technologies used include Delphi, SQL, XML, C#, ASP.NET and javascript Troubleshooting of urgent client issues as and when required Provide enhancement advisory direction to staff in Core Development Provide advice on appropriate test plans/scripts to internal and client Testing teams. PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum experience required Knowledge of Elementary Stochastic Calculus Mathematical knowledge of financial market instruments Validate/compute financial market instrument pricing and sensitivity measures Working knowledge of SQL Excellent documentation skills Strong Excel skills
Desirable requirements Knowledge of SQL, XML, C#, ASP.NET and javascript
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Good 1st or upper 2nd class honors degree or equivalent experience.
