This is a key role within the Sales Leadership Team that requires overseeing all aspects of the Vic/Tas Sales function and contributing to our Business Markets Sales Leadership Team. The role holder will be the principal face of Wholesale Bank to internal and external clients across entire Business Markets client franchise of nab business, agribusiness, health, government, and education. In conjunction with various business heads develop and articulate a clear strategy and associated revenue plans for each client sector within Vic & Tas. Other responsibilities include managing the activities of approximately 25 sales staff and ensuring the business is correctly resourced to meet plan. Work collaboratively with Wholesale Bank/Business Bank and Markets Product Groups to deliver products to clients and deliver shareholder value. Deliver growth in client franchise. Understand our principal systems including primary deal booking, risk management and credit measurement systems. Oversee risk generated by originated transactions whilst ensuring compliance requirements are met. Train our staff to achieve best practice risk management and sales
