Responsible for managing a team of analyst and re-engineering current products and/or processes to meet customer needs as determined by Sr. Transaction Manager. Drives and develops solutions that create a synergy of cost-efficiency, functionality and creativity and meet the needs and priorities of the business and its defined markets. Manages the end-to-end product life-cycle. Responsibilities include executing proactive and ongoing initiatives intended to identify and satisfy client needs and/or improve capability to service those needs. Provides guidance, feedback, evaluation and career planning to analysts. Requires significant functional and industry expertise. Expected to be subject matter experts in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas, or products.
CMBS Transaction Manager will oversee and manage up to 90 commercial mortgage backed securizations and will be responsible for all aspects of deal execution from inception to termination. CMBS Transaction Manger will work closlely with other groups including bank's External Reporting Group, Market Risk, Transaction Risk, Internal and External Counsel, Modeling Analytics, and Regulatory Reporting Teams. CMBS Transaction Manger will review and analyze transaction specific reports, participate in document review and analysis, interface with investors, servicers, swap counterparties, and other external parties to CMBS transactions. Strong candidates will be able to prioritize issues and work efficiently in a distressed market environment.
Qualifications
Required skills:
Undergraduate degree in Finance or related industry experience. Prior Securitiztion or Structured Finance experience. 4 years of market or 2 years of product specific knowledge. Understanding of fixed-income products, credit markets, derivatives and bank loans.
Desired skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Access. Familiarity with pooling and servicing agreements, trust indentures, and ISDA agreements. Ability to influence associates at different levels across the organization.
