Develop the marketing plan, including product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, to generate awareness and leads including key programs and events
Work with product management to conduct market research that enables customer-centric, fact-based decision-making
Define the specific plans and budgets for selling products and services to new customers
Create launch plans, ensuring that all departments are prepared for new product releases and all items are completed to launch the product externally
Establish thought leadership by creating and delivering thoughtful information to influence customers, buyers, industry specialists, research analysts, and other parties
Develop a lead generation process that is designed to generate and nurture qualified leads
Align the GE Energy Storage selling process to the buying process, describing the key personas' information needs for each step in the process
Create collateral for buyer personas focused on a specific steps of the buying process
Create tools for salespeople focused on a specific steps of the selling process
Design and deliver training programs to help the sales channels focus on how to sell the product
Produce standard product presentations and demo scripts that can be used by the sales team in a typical sales process
Provide product and market expertise for events such as conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and seminars
Provide on-going support for the sales channel
Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership and compliance Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Math / Sciences
Minimum 7 years of sales, marketing, and/or product management ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% to customer, supplier, and/or GET engineering sites globally (The balance of work time will be spent at Energy Storage Technologies’ headquarters located in Schenectady, New York) Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Minimum of 3 years heavy industrial, business-to-business experience
Six Sigma or equivalent problem solving expertise (Green or Black Belt)
Proven track record of establishing a vision, strategy and executing business plans
Previous experience in the renewable energy, energy storage, UPS, and/or a drive train-related industry
