To join the UKI Contract Management Central team and to be assigned to a suitable client engagement once a role is identified.  At that time the role requires the Specialist to carry out the following duties depending on the nature of the engagement:

 

Manage the client contract and associated subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.  Provide on-site advice to Accenture's business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters.   Organise, control, and direct the work activities of a team of contract management professionals to support a business or client unit.  Formulate programme or engagement or client goals and objectives to focus activities towards effective performance of contract management.  Exercise effective, proactive management techniques to adhere to performance objectives and measurements.   Directly influence and provide guidance to and sets the example for others to follow in terms of professionalism and overall demeanour.   

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Responsible for the management and delivery of complex and medium risk contracts and provide support to the business or client unit

In conjunction with Contract Management Unit, develop, disseminate, and implements best practices consistently across the business or unit

Understands, supports, and enables business/client and strategy of the business/client unit

Works successfully as a member of the wider Commercial Team with Finance and Programme Control functions to provide seamless Commercial support to the engagement team

Working closely with the legal team, ensure seamless contract formation and contract execution support is delivered to the organisation

 
 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements


  • Demonstrates successful management of medium complexity deals

  • Possess knowledge of general business practices, UK government or commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and basic accounting and finance principles  

  • Collaborative and persuasive; ability to influence colleagues

  • Ability to communicate effectively with client interfaces

  • Understands basic contracting principles of English Law

  • Competent working knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint
