We provide services to companies throughout their lifecycle from purchasing a company to investigating potential fraud.   We are seeking qualified Capital Advisory Senior Vice President to join the Corporate Finance Advisory practice:   Our Corporate Finance Advisory offering consists of Investment Banking Advisory Services, offered in the U.S. through Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance LLC (DTCF)
  • , as well as Fairness Opinions and Capital Efficiency services provided by Deloitte FAS.   DTCF provides clients with responsive and sophisticated M&A advisory services as they pursue middle market transactions. Investment banking products and services within the United States are offered exclusively through DTCF.   Capital Advisory Overview:   •      Dedicated team of credit focused corporate finance professionals devoted to raising capital and providing independent capital advisory services •      Complete independence from providers of capital; our objectives are aligned with those of our clients •      Our key strengths are: •      Team members have significant experience as investment principals with respect to senior debt, mezzanine and second lien debt and all forms of equity •      Deliver a comprehensive solution by leveraging all Deloitte services •      In-depth knowledge and understanding of all segments of capital markets in North America •      Intimate knowledge and relationships with North American capital sources •      Expertise in understanding and designing optimal capital structures for clients •      Deep expertise in financial services industry with specialization in providing distressed debt advisory services •      "Best In Class" execution capabilities     The Capital Advisory Senior Vice President job responsibilities include:   ·         Act as the on-site senior lead executor on Capital Advisory engagements.  ·         Advise clients with regards to selecting a source of capital, how to approach the market and how to maximize value and minimize the risks ·         Analyzing and advising on capital structures as well as significant contacts with capital providers.  ·         Communicates regulatory, financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide decision-makers in Capital Market transactions.  ·         Conveys a genuine interest in and understanding of the client's business and industry and provides both broad and specific information and suggestions for improving the business.  ·         Bring together the most appropriate team to provide exceptional multifunctional and global services to the client.  ·         Ensure that any professional, technical, or client service problem or request is resolved in a timely manner and by the appropriate people and resources.   ·         Oversee a team of 1-2 analysts and 2-3 senior associates and 1-2 managers and be responsible for executing transactions.  A Capital Advisory Senior Vice President will possess the following qualifications:   ·         10+ years experience in lending/debt execution ·         Current knowledge of capital markets, pricing, covenants and structuring ·         Exposure to high yield markets a plus.  ·         Industry and turn-key intermediary experience and negotiating skills ·         Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint ·         Must be flexible with the potential travel requirements of projects ·         Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral ·         A strong finance, accounting, and/or economics background preferred ·         Bachelors required; MBA and/or JD, ASA, CPA and/or CFA a plus
