| Job Description: |
Responsible for providing analysis supporting the Bank’s security and security related compliance programs. Manages financial reporting and budgeting for the investigations and physical security staff and is responsible for assessing, planning and implementing process management improvement within the program. Position Accountabilities 1. Conducts research and complex studies involving fraud exposure and losses, physical security, strategic planning, and cost allocations. Prepares management reports and makes presentations on study results. 2. Performs a variety of complex and diverse analytical duties including the collection and analysis of compliance and security trend and financial data and performs statistical analyses. 3. Performs financial analysis, strategic planning, cost allocations and budget performance. Prepares management reports and makes presentations to executive and senior management on results. 4. Researches relevant security developments in the organization and/or within the industry. Prepares the evaluation of compliance/security data and provides that analysis to management in the form of gap analysis and trends with recommendations. 5. Oversees the development of the annual budgets for investigations and physical security. Manages third party expenses, such as Guard Services, including evaluating for accuracy and sending to appropriate departments for payment processing. Assists in the formulation of capital budgets in coordination with appropriate managers and identifies any areas of potential cost reductions where feasible 6. Liaises with business partners in initial documentation of incoming cases to ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities and the bank’s Board of Directors. Ensures daily operational needs of field Investigators are met by support staff. 7. Evaluates the work processes used for various security related work through personnel interviews and observation. Flag processes that can benefit process improvements for further development. 8. Designs and maintains Security Department intranet site and related links to enhance communications effectiveness. 9. Performs special projects regarding bank security/compliance activities which may result in in-depth studies and preparation of Board level presentations. Assists in preparation for regulatory examinations. 10. Trains, evaluates, develops, and implements SharePoint based workflow models with the objective of maximizing efficiencies and transparency in the process. Provides on-going technical support for users. 11. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Job Specifications Req Education or Equivalent Experience • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Experience • Minimum two years experience performing analytical or quantitative analysis • Minimum two years of experience in banking/financial services industry preferred • Minimum two years of compliance and/or security experience preferred Field of Experience • General knowledge of database administration in a complex, multi-state setting. • General knowledge of security programs and policies and procedures • General knowledge of Bank operations • General knowledge of process management improvement Administrative/Technical Skill • Writing skills • Oral communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Analytical and research • Bank product and service knowledge • Compile statistics • Coordinate meetings • Perform math and analysis • Presentation skills • Problem solving • Research information • Use personal computers • Detail oriented • Planning and organizing skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Web design Level Supervised • May lead project teams Physical Requirements • Sedentary Work: lifting a maximum of 10 pounds, frequent standing/walking The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
