Job Description:

• Manage a portfolio of Community Development construction and permanent loans and low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) fund investments from pre-closing to repayment or end of term.
• Monitor loans for compliance with terms and conditions.
• Monitor repayments and research and resolve past due loan issues.
• Collaborate with Loan and Investment Administration to review and approve periodic construction loan advances, with particular attention to sources of funds, and resolve complex administrative issues.
• Perform quarterly review of the progress of construction projects including post-closing issues, sources and uses of funds, lease-up or sales and conversion to permanent finance.
• Manage modifications and extensions of loans; collaborate with the workout team, if necessary.
• Review and make recommendations about risk ratings.
• Collaborate with Loan and Investment Administration and legal counsel to complete the conversions of construction loans to permanent loans.
• Monitor LIHTC fund investments by review of Syndicator fiscal health and competency, fund watchlist and variance from initial yield.
• Support accounting function by monitoring LIHTC fund benefit schedules, financial statements and Schedule K-1s.
• Perform annual Asset Reviews, or more frequently, as needed, including site inspections and guarantor analysis.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 7 years of experience in the underwriting and/or portfolio management of commercial real estate and/or community development construction loans or LIHTC fund asset management.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in the underwriting and/or portfolio management of commercial real estate and/or community development construction loans or LIHTC fund asset management.
• Strong oral and written communication, presentation and influencing skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Completion of credit training program.
