| Job Description: |
Monitor global industry and government standards for certifications and other regulations including but not limited to REACH, ROHS, WEEE, CE Mark, LVD, EMC, and MID
Drive cross functional and cross business engagement to achieve Compliance execution that will ensure products meet all regulatory requirements and support NPI safety deliverables
Develop overall Product Safety and Regulatory Conpliance training strategy for the organization, and establish approach for measuring effectiveness of the implementation
Champion the Customer Issue Resolution process related to product safety and engage cross business stakeholders to drive timely responsiveness to customer issues
Communicate teams' progress and compliance status with business leaders Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management from an accredited university or college or other technical degree
Minimum of 5 years of operations / project management / product management experience including technical, administrative, financial and contractual
Green Belt Certification (GE employees only) Desired Characteristics Knowledge of technical regulations and standards, chemicals and substances
High motivation level - self starter with strong change management skills
Flexible and adaptable: Open to change and modification of tasks
Experience in QA / QC, ISO or QMS position with auditing background
Quality / Mfg Engineer background
Excellent communication/presentation skills, both written and oral
Demonstrated leadership and excellent verbal and writing communication / interpersonal skills
Formal quality system auditor training such as ISO, QMS, QUAD or QA / QC
