| Job Description: |
Responsible for the direction, curriculum, and performance of enterprise required compliance training programs, compliance and risk professional development, communications, change management and risk culture awareness for the bank. Confers with Executive Management to ensure client needs are met through the delivery of cost-effective, quality training programs and methods. Recommends training policies and approves training programs and training delivery channels for compliance and risk group. Responsibilities 1. Responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development programs for compliance and risk through the use of internal and external resources to support the Bank’s strategic plan. 2. Conduct thorough compliance training needs analysis with HR and functional teams. Ensures effective procedures are being practiced for the tracking of compliance training activity and the accuracy of report data. 3. Ensures cost-effective delivery of quality training activities that support the strategic direction of the organization. Measure and evaluate results of training and use metrics to improve training effectiveness. 4. Drive process efficiency with consistency of compliance training materials and methodology. Works directly with training vendors and internal leadership team to develop a detailed proposal and annual cost estimate for comprehensive training programs. 5. Assist in internal compliance audits of training programs and materials. 6. Advise senior management and prepare board reporting on the status of compliance training plans and training effectiveness. 7. Advise the Chief Compliance Officer on compliance risk management issues. 8. Monitors and acts on individual and group feedback to enhance compliance training and organizational development activities. 9. Negotiates and manages vendor contracts. 10. Approves proposals and project plans for new or revised programs (i.e., scheduling, costs, human resources and operational issues, etc.). 11. Maintains contacts in organizational development and training associations to keep abreast of new training and development techniques/interventions. Qualifications Ten or more years of regulatory compliance, learning and development, and/or banking experience Bachelors degree in Business or similar Thorough knowledge of all training and development activities, curriculum, career development, and organizational development as it relates to the compliance and risk function. Excellent communication skills Ability to work with diverse stakeholders Physical Requirements • Sedentary Work: lifting a maximum of 10 pounds, frequent standing/walking |
