Job Description:

Summary:
Under the guidance of a senior Portfolio Manager, responsibilities include spreading financial statements, assessing credit risk, and communicating risks to Business Bankers, Credit Officers, and other departments as necessary. Continues to support portfolio administration as needed by completing fraud reviews, satisfying financial requirements, facilitating loan amendments, and performing other duties as assigned. The Portfolio Manager I will have successfully completed credit training prior to start of role and should continue to develop credit skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing credit reviews related to the Interim, Early Warning, 6-Rated, and Annual Review Processes.
  • Identifying portfolio risks through a variety of methods including but not limited to financial spreading, credit review, discussions with Business Bankers, line management, and fraud review.
  • Supporting portfolio administration efforts by satisfying financial requirements and facilitating loan amendments.
  • Providing training and assistance to Credit Analysts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from a 4 year College/University.
  • 1 year experience in commercial or small business credit underwriting, credit structuring, credit/portfolio administration, or other applicable risk assessment experience.
  • Completion of a formal Commercial Credit Training Program or 3+ years of experience i
  • Commercial or Small Business Underwriting.
  • 1 year of financial statement analysis experience.
  • 1 year experience in regulatory compliance, tax, accounting or financial services.
