| Job Description: |
· Carry out timely and effective escalations · Facilitate incident process and drive fast resolution · Manage incident SLAs · Communicate to Business, CIOs and CIO Staff during major incidents · Team communications during major incidents · Drive continuous improvement of incident process · Quality assurance (contents of incident tickets, incident notifications/communications) · Incident metric reporting · Provide daily/weekly summary reports · Coach Event Analysts · Research Knowledge Bases, Known Error Database (KEDB) and other sources of information that will ensure fast resolutions of incidents · Update, create and improve Knowledge Bases and Known Error Database (KEDB) Qualifications/Requirements · Experience managing and enforcing security policies · Experience in one or more security technology areas (firewall, IDS, IPS, etc.) · Serve as a project team member · Coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority · Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements · Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization · Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills · Analytic, creative and technical problem solver · BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent · Minimum five years IT experience · Previous Incident Management experience Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Desired Characteristics · Green Belt certified · Leadership Training Program Experience (IMLP, OMLP, FMP) · Vendor / Professional certification (Cisco, SANS, etc.) · Experience in the healthcare industry · Lean experience · PMP / ITIL certified |
