Job Description:

  • Be accountable for overall Project proposal strategy·
  • Achieve financial and operational targets committed for the assigned Area/Region (eg identify new deals, build up new opportunities)·
  • Support the Sales Force in opportunity development/assessment with Customers·
  • Identify with Application Engineering Team and all the involved Functions the best solutions to meet Customers' "Critical to Quality" (CTQs)·
  • Scout opportunities in the assigned Area, teaming up with Sales Regional Manager, keeping track of all the projects in the Area always ensuring a solid and rigorous financials reporting and forecasts
  • Gate to O&G HQ (Nuovo Pignone) for Request for Quotations (RFQs) arriving from the assigned Area and/or for proposals relevant to the same Area
  • Prepare commercial proposals, guarantee Quality completeness and Time responsiveness
  • Lead Risk Assessment processes coordinating Bid Teams/Functions (Legal, Finance, Manufacturing, Technical Assistance, Sales Force, Global Services P&Ls,….) during proposal preparation and follow-up
  • Define strategy on Price and Margin and leverage ROI evaluation
  • Lead negotiation with Customers and Functions in order to ensure full compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment
  • Lead Hand-Off for project execution phase (OTR) (supported by the team)Track, monitor and report the assigned project/s (CMS tool management) Qualifications/Requirements
  • BS Engineering or other (Mechanical/Aeronautical preferred)·
  • 5 or more years experience in a technical/commercial role or in Operations role, preferably developed in Oil & Gas Sectors
  • Fluency in Italian & English
  • Self-starter, high motivation level, strong leadership skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication and team building skills
  • Excellent commercial skills, developed through his/her negotiation experience and knowledge of customer financial drivers
  • Full availability to travel for business purposes world-wide Desired Characteristics
  • Risk management experience
  • Knowledge of a third language
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
