Job Description:

Meet customers’ expectations using a proactive and self managed approach with regular customer rhythm and feedback.
Work alongside Regional Field Services leader to deploy and forecast field service personnel needs including proactive management of local competency, capabilities & training plans.
Ensure shop and repair facilities are run at optimised capability, capacity and productivity
Ensure familiarity is given to local service engineers with regards to project specific equipment specifications, operating procedures, customer requirements and specific site/installations.
Ensure compliance, integrity and quality activities meet GE & Vetco Gray standards.
Report in accordance with regional expectations, but also in accordance with corporate requirements.
Contribute to product and service innovation and development.
Provide focal point for communication with local customer base.
Liaise directly with customers regarding Operational support for on-site/installations, and providing onshore support services as necessary.
Attend where necessary and conduct Tool Box meetings prior to commencement of any job so that our service engineers are fully aware and prepared for the task in hand.
Ensure that all relevant equipment/tools are available to complete assignment
Report details of non-conformance and malfunctions to our engineering team and ensure effective to close out.
Maintain an up-to-date services forecast addressing local manpower / tooling / repair requirements.
Ensuring prompt and accurate submission of all relevant reports and administrative work such that billing is completed in a timely manner.
Ensure that inventory, well files and other data are properly maintained.
Being aware of other regional activity and capability, ready to offer or ask for assistance, and develop strong x-regional communications. Qualifications/Requirements 10+ years of Oil & Gas experience
Technical degree and/or an MBA with strong technical experience
7+ years Wellhead experience Desired Characteristics Multi-skilled and required to manage a Services organisation in an efficient and organized manner.
Required to liaise closely with customers to ensure job completion in a compliant manner.
Ability to provide onshore supervision and technical support and should be able to cope with technical amendments to working methods/procedures.
Decision-making will generally relate to commercial, technical and customer issues.
A detailed understanding of the company’s products and services.
Knowledge of company, industry and local regulatory standards, and how they are applied.
A thorough understanding of the Oil and Gas industry.
Awareness of the regional market and competitors.
Excellent communicator; both verbally and in writing, and aware of the need to share information and promote engagement / ownership.
Good interpersonal skills.
A strong leader and a problem solver; comfortable with addressing challenges.
Always looks for innovative solutions and how things can be improved.
