Job Description:

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Understanding customer’s clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought and prioritize customer segments and business opportunities in conjunction with functional and modality leadership.
· Developing global marketing strategy, value proposition and Vscan positioning.
· Spurring innovation & creative thinking as a process based on customer needs in conjunction with P&L leaders and overall business innovation strategy.
· Manage team responsible for delivering market forecasts and business cases for products/upgrades that are at concept stage, working with Assistant Product Leader, Business Analysis and Global Design to develop, test and prototype new product ideas, and gathering and create FDA claims and compelling “proof points” of our value proposition.
· Facilitate innovative total customer offering development to ensure customer success.
· Driving external focus via dissemination of research, events, advisory boards, etc.
· Map product attributes to customer benefits sought by Primary Care, identify potential/current gaps. Drive specific market analysis to understand trends.
· Ensure OP is met through demo stock optimization and product re-launch.
· Help assess modality portfolio competitiveness, current and future state and track competitive activity and positioning within region.
· Work closely with Services, Healthcare Financial Services and other P&Ls and Ultrasound segments to identify combined offering opportunities. Understand and monitor installed base opportunities (e.g., upgrades, end of product life).
· Support the development & execution of regional modality marketing & communication plans in coordination with Vscan marketing leadership, the Regional Operational Marketing Leader and MarComm.
· Lead annual Growth Playbook process, as well as SII and OP.
· Develop and manage processes and programs to increase customer awareness, preference and purchase intent (e.g., lead generation campaigns). Own regional trade shows, show sites and customer visits.
· Ensure Global Product Marketing supplies regional sales forces with product positioning, training materials, brochures and other tools required for execution of growth objectives.

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Qualifications/Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
· Minimum 12 years experience in marketing related work like market and value creation, product positioning, market sizing, VOC management, and other marketing related activities
· Healthcare product/industry acumen with either knowledge of/experience with Ultrasound products or marketing experience in a healthcare consumer product industry launching new products successfully
· Experience with customer interactions, luminary development, marketing and sales team interactions
· Proven strong analytical and process skills and follow through
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams of both direct and indirect reports; managed a team of at least 4 direct reports; proven stellar influencing skills to gain buy-in and assistance from key stakeholders in functions/regions
· Proven successful track record with projects from developing concept to end execution
· Must be willing to work from an office location of Wauwatosa, WI
· Must possess authorization to work in the US
· Must be willing to travel upwards of 65% of the time
· Must be willing to partake in drug screen and background investigation as part of the onboarding process Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Desired Characteristics · MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
· Minimum 10 years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
· Strategic planner and clear thinker with ability to drive change across Vscan/Primary Care and Ultrasound organizations
· Previous medical device “start-up” business experience in either marketing or management levels
· Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
· Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
· Assertiveness – strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to share difficult messages and defend decisions and make judgment call
· Excellent oral and written communications skills, mastery in English and local language
· Undeterred optimism and positive attitude
