Senior Editor An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Editor to join our in-house Editorial team. Datamonitor is a market leader in the business information industry, providing business professionals across key sectors with data, analysis and forecasting tools on a one-stop online platform – helping 6,000 of the worlds largest companies profit from better, more timely decisions. Every year we publish thousands of pieces of key insightful analysis that contribute to our report publishing and custom tailored consulting. We currently have exciting opportunities in our Central Editorial team. In this role you will be responsible for the quality of published content across the Healthcare, Consumer, Energy and Technology markets. You'll be copy-editing reports produced by our global team of experts on a range of market issues and be able to turn complex copy into accessible and authoritative advice for our global client base. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities: - Proven editorial experience across ideally Healthcare, Consumer, Energy or Technology disciplines
- Expert command of the English language as you’ll be editing technical reports, ensuring the content has a consistent tone of voice, is clear and concise
- A meticulous eye for detail
- Able to grasp technical topics and make them understandable to others
- Committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to tight deadlines
- Excellent team-working skills
- An excellent communicator, with the ability to train others
- Highly numerate
