We currently have multiple openings for experienced Compliance Examiner Sr. with the ability to conduct thorough on-site examinations and evaluate financial institution activities in order to assess/monitor compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

 

Specific functions include:

 

• Meeting with financial institution management to discuss findings

• Generating reports that identify and address areas of significant risk and overall operation effectiveness

• Reviewing activities concurrently to ensure quality, consistent application and performance

• Independently providing innovative, thorough and practicable solutions resolutions to an extensive range of complex issues

• Interacting with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters that often require coordination across organizational lines

 

Candidates must be highly self-motivated and possess:

 

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree desirable

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience

• In-depth knowledge of the mortgage banking process, particularly involving mortgage origination and servicing

• The ability to assess operational and compliance risk, and adapt to regulatory and procedural changes

• Excellent leadership, critical thinking and verbal/written communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
