Job Description:

As an Underwriting Supervisor within Chase Home Lending's Correspondent channel, you will Assist Underwriting Center Manager with following: 



  • Manage a team of upto 15 employees


  • review and 1-up loans ensuring compliance with Agency and Non-Agency guidelines


  • Ensure team consistenly meets or exceeds established productivity and quality targets

  • Interaction with various field sales and sales management

  • Interaction with customers on results and improvement plans

  • Development of Exec Level Business reports.

  • Improve timeliness and effectiveness of the team/department


  • 5 years of Underwriting experience

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience

  • Strong knowledge of Agency and Non-Agency guidelines

  • Process improvement experience

  • Very strong communication skills

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills

  • Experience managing professional level staff

  • Bachelor degree or commensurate experience

  • Advanced PC skills a must
