As a Vendor Portfolio Liaison, you will Resolve outside vendor questions and issues that impact their ability to handle customer accounts while supporting policies/programs and participating in supply chains to deliver forecasted results.  The candidate will also track and report vendor metrics while conducting root cause discussions and if necessary, escalate to Vendor Portfolio Manager.  There are a number of skills that will require working knowledge, such as: managing/supporting/analyzing audit findings and partnering with vendors to resolve issues, participating in monthly calibration sessions, supporting the identification of and assisting in the resolution of operational issues, and monitoring vendor compliance with Chase polices/procedures and State & Federal regulations.  Finally, the Liaison will be responsible for managing Vendor Portfolio Advisors.   

 

As a result, you will act as a liaison between the strategic vision of the business and the outside Specialty Operations Vendors.  In order to accomplish this, you will be expected to:


  • Quickly understand the business needs, issues and data challenges of the organization and industry.

  • Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.

  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Exhibit confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.

  • Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.

·          Working knowledge of C3 required, and working knowledge of RMS preferred

·          Strong analytical skills required

·          Past experience in managing direct reports required

·          Must have advanced skills in Word, Excel, Power Point

·          Strong interpersonal skills are essential and the ability to motivate and build strong partnerships with internal and external constituents

·          Self-motivated, innovative, deadline driven and a strong team player.

·          Proven track record with SQL/SAS is desired
