Job Purpose 1. The candidate would be responsible for managing and supporting Business and interaction with internal as well as external clients and contribute toward growth of Business 2. Candidate needs to possess strong positive energy to drive fast growing business and take on challenges of multitasking regular business and lead the projects Key Responsibility 1. Initial role will be involved in setting up Loan middle office and to coordinate with the existing Loan Operation Team. Lead the team and groom them with relevant experience Responsible for oversight on: 1. Preparation of operating model and manual for GCB business in discussion with Credit and Compliance. 2. Role will involve working with Credit and Corporate banking groups, compliance to contribute in detailed policy documentation. 3. Managing execution of sanction letter / term sheet as well as required documentation based on the credit approved product, security proposed as well as terms and conditions. 4. Coordination with relationship managers, CCM, legal and credit approver for changes in documentation suggested by client. 5. Track exception reports for transaction documents i.e incomplete documentation, incomplete security creation, expired insurance policies, non receipt of stock & receivables statements, non receipt of covenant compliance reports, list of documents expiration, etc 6. Set up a process for collateral / security of loans and allied activities 7. Ensure adherence with internal policies, to the extent of the roles performed. Establish a panel for chartered accountant firms that can be used for filing charge, stock verification, any specific due diligence required, etc. 8. Establish a panel of valuers for real estate, factory buildings, plant & machinery, etc. Establish list of authorized signatories for the bank for execution of documentation, etc. 9. Legal (internal / external) support for title verification, changes to documentation, review of company constitutional documentation, board resolutions, etc. Valuation of assets proposed to be secured to the bank needs to be valued to ascertain the present market valuation in case lending is proposed against present valuation. Verification of title deeds for land, Registrar of Companies search for security charges already created, etc. Periodic valuation during tenor of loan as per internal policy requirement. 10. Receive / follow up for periodic reports from customer such as stock and receivables statements, covenant compliance report. Monitor adequacy of insurance for assets charged to the bank 11. Manage Credit related Local Regulatory reporting 12. Responsible for controlling covenant tracking, collateral tracking and drawing power monitoring 13. Partnership with Business, Legal, Credit, Compliance and operations for smooth operation 14. Oversee submissions for Location Governance committee, regulators and internal audits. Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills 1. Post graduate (MBA-Finance)/Qualified CA with work experience of 10-12 years as Head Credit Mid office/ Administration in Financial Institutions 2. Has managed Unsecured and Secured Loans types-Term/Working Capital/put-call option, Convertible ,Warrants, LC, Guarantees, etc. 3. Strong understanding of Local Regulatory guidelines pertaining to Loans / LC / Guarantees / Warrants and credit limit monitoring 4. Excellent communication skills - verbal and written 5. Interpersonal skills, partnership skills 6. Ability to proactively think, anticipate changes / issues, plan efficiently and execute effectively 7. Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing Business and projects or initiatives |
