Service delivery - Benefit Administrator

 

OGANIZATIONAL OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE

Client Service Delivery (CSD) serves as the primary point of contact for plan sponsors of defined contribution and defined benefit plans, with the ability to answer questions regarding plan administration.  We actively participate and work with clients on projects, implementation of plan design changes and thought leadership.  We resolve problems with individual and team assigned plans, and work with Operations to handle issues as they arise.

 

Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Benefit Administrator are assisting the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) in the tactical and strategic management of clients while also coordinating and fulfilling administrative duties and resolving day to day client issues.

 

Major Responsibilities

·         Preparing ad hoc reports for clients and/or CSD management in accordance with directives provided by the SDM.  This may require the extraction of data from domain specific recordkeeping systems and subsequent incorporation of it into various Microsoft office templates and/or by submitting a request for extraction to IT.

·         Researching and resolving participant escalations in accordance with agreed to SLAs and clearing the correlated EXP AG workflow queues.

·         Performing quarterly client and participant (PPT) statement reconciliations in order to ensure the accuracy of data and its timely delivery to the intended recipient.

·         Facilitating and managing a series of regularly scheduled plan events weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually, for plan sponsors, such as loan default reports.

·         Updating all administrative documents and systems to incorporate legislative, regulatory, plan specific and best practice changes.

·         Other duties as assigned by the SDM or SDM Team Manager.

 

 
Education and Experience

·         Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience required.

·         At least two years of related experience in employee benefits processing/operations.

·         Familiarity with domain specific recordkeeping systems; OMNI and PenSmart preferred.

·         Adept at Microsoft Office software programs.
