Detailed Description

Specific Duties:

·         

Support the business needs of internal customers of the ERP application and its data.

·         

Allocate staff and managed services resources in support of development activities.

·         

Reviews and evaluates staff performance

·         

Mentors and guides staff professional development

·         

Review and evaluate the managed services performance against established metrics

·         

Evaluate performance metrics for managed services to ensure their continued relevance.

·         

Collaborate on departmental and systems budgetary activities and strategic roadmaps

·         

Develops, supports and maintains optimal operation of the ERP application, assuring implementation of best practices and compliance with SOX requirements and audit controls.

·         

Collaborate on the installation, configuration, design, patching, upgrading, and maintenance of the system.

·         

Collaborates with Business Integration, Program Support, Infrastructure and Operations to analyze and validate the business needs of project stakeholders.

·         

Applies analytical and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and ensure project deliverables conform to System Development Life Cycle specifications.

·         

Plans and coordinates change management processes

·         

Oversees the ERP support function to ensure all established application support metrics are met.

·         

Analyze user requirements for new projects and make recommendations for the software and/or application architecture.

·         

Manage a staff comprise of solution architects, technical and functional managers to develop, support and maintain optimal operation of assigned applications

Consults and advises executive staff on key initiatives to support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science a MINIMUM, Engineering or Business (required). MBA or Advanced Degree (highly desirable)

12+ years IT experience

·         

5+ years of experience managing enterprise software implementations utilizing a managed services model

·         

8+ years prior experience in a leadership role managing employees and/or contractors.

·         

Strong working experience with Oracle Development Tools and Hyperion EPM 11 is a must

·         

 

Strong working experience in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE), P2P (iProcurement, iSupplier Portal, Sourcing), OBIEE+, UPK, Linux, RAC Cluster, High Availability, OAF, SOA, PL/SQL, SQL, JAVA, Web Services, JDeveloper and Workflow

·         

Understanding of up-to-date coding standards and software developments.

·         

Strong knowledge of Oracle relational databases

·         

A proven track record of delivering solutions to customers, including database implementation, consolidation, and application integration with emphasis on Web services is highly desirable

·         

Strong consensus-building and negotiation skills

·         

Project Management skills

·         

Analytical and Problem Solving skills

·         

Strong oral and written communication skills

·         

Experience and/or demonstrated ability to manage onshore/offshore vendors
