Job Description:


Corporate Technology Infrastructure (CTI) is a global Corporate services group responsible for all infrastructure required within Citi. CTI locally supports a population of 2300 users in the Ireland & Jersey.


 

The purpose of this role will be Infrastructure support of all in-Country activities relating to CTI functions. The infrastructure analyst will report to the Ireland Desktop Support manager based in Dublin. Key responsibilities will include;

 


  • Utilizes good understanding of technology infrastructure procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas to provide support to users for application, software, hardware and network issues.

  • Diagnoses and resolves problems through troubleshooting and basic analysis in the following areas: client operations, release management, change management, problem management, quality and optimization, data centre management (computing), compliance and COB, voice and data technology support.

  • Escalates issues as appropriate to next level support.

  • Participates in testing activities.

  • Applies good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.

  • Assesses the applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluates options under circumstances not covered by procedures.

  • Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical manner.


 

Knowledge & Experience


  • Experience in the Financial IT industry is desirable

  • General experience in supporting server, desktop, network, voice and business type systems.


 

Skills:


  • Good relationship skills

  • Ability to practically apply technical knowledge in a high pressure, time critical environment

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Self-Motivated with a logical approach to Problem-Solving


 

Qualifications: 


  • MCSA

  • Networking Essentials

  • Degree in IT or similar industry certification &\ experience
