Sr. Infrastructure Technical Lead
Leads IT projects for new innovations, process improvements, or operations. Manages a team of designers and developers through project design, development and delivery. Ensures adherence to defined Software Development Life cycle. Identifies and manages platform strategic direction in coordination with business users' needs and direction.
Responsibilities: Serve as enterprise IT Lead for management of all IT Infrastructure Testing Services. Manage functional, infrastructure and operational integrity for all IT infrastructure changes (Data and Voice Networks, Network Security, Shared Services, Servers, Databases, Mainframe, Storage as well as any other physical infrastructure components). Manage requirements analysis and review, requirements traceability, test strategy/test plan development, test execution, defect management and quality assurance reporting. · Manage business process and regression testing as well as coordination of production validation for the applications impacted by IT infrastructure changes. · Manage functional integration testing of IT infrastructure components. · Manage fail over validations as well as regulatory and compliance processes. · Manage performance, security, scalability, integration and system configuration/replication for all IT infrastructure changes. · Manage testing for changes to data center, network, operations, operational procedures/reporting, business continuity and fail over validations to ensure overall quality of service. · Manage standard IT processes in support of enhancements to IT infrastructure. · Manage team of associates and contractors
Basic Qualifications: · Bachelors Degree · 5 Years experience in Managing medium to large IT projects · 5 Years experience in Infrastructure Design and Architecture · 5 Years experience in IT development or support · Preferred Qualifications: · Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering or Computers · 7 Years experience in Managing medium to large IT projects · 2 Years experience in Project Management · 2 Years experience in Software development · Knowledge of Cisco GSS , CSS , Cisco 6500 FWSM, Cisco ACE. · Knowledge of Active Directory, Identity Lifecycle Management, SCCM, SCOM and QMM · Management and support of SUN environments including software and hardware upgrades, patch management. · Web Servers and Database server hardening · Tipping Point IPS Implementation · Log Monitoring tools · Accelerator Card Implementation · Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Test. · Internetworking Equipment: Cisco, Nortel Networks. · Network Operating Systems: Sun Solaris/SunOS, HP Unix. · Network Management: Cisco Works, HP Openview, Big Brother, MRTG. · Security: Cisco PIX, TIS Firewall Toolkit, Raptor Eagle Firewall, Linux Firewall, SOCKS5/eBorder, Encryption Solutions (PKIs, PGP, SSH, SSL, dedicated Encryption Devices, among others), Authentication Products(SecurID, Radius/AAA, Kerberos). · Security and Network Tools: ISS Network ICE, Recourse (now Symantec) ManHunt IDS, Recourse (now Symantec) ManTrap. · Reviewing of business requirement, design documentation for completeness and testability · Test Case Management · Defect Management · Risk Management - Demonstrated ability to shape risk based testing approaches/plans · Tools - Experience with test management tools such as HP Quality Center. · Ability to write and analyze test reports across a broad audience and present recommendations to senior audience
