JOB PURPOSE:
As part of the IT Governance – Enterprise PMO group, this position is central in providing technical leadership to the technical development team, Innovate, design, develop and implement software solutions within company standards, deliver quality solutions to resolve functional issues and meet functional requirements, and collaborate effectively with functional team and business units to provide expert project life cycle support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide technical leadership to both technical staff and onshore/offshore GDC resources.
Provide guidance to and review the work of other IT team members, as well as investigating ways to improve existing processes and implement improvements.
Responsible for maintaining existing software code.
Collaborate with business units, functional teams and other IT members identify, assess and resolve reported application and technical issues.
Participate in the requirement discovery stage, validation of design requirements and analysis of service requests.
Lead technical team in developing specifications, innovating, design, development and implementing software solutions for Timekeeping systems.
Communicate to Management on issues and status.
Establish and manage status reporting to track progress of all activities.
Ensure all system documentations are according to established standards.
Develop test scripts and run tests to confirm specification compliance.
Ensure Cross-training of other IT members on supported applications.
Participate in off hours on call support. Qualifications/Requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 7 years of experience in application development.
Minimum 5 years experience designing and developing client-server and web based systems using web services, Visual Studio, ASP, ASP.Net and .Net. IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle including stored procedures, DTS and SSIS packages and Ajax.

Bachelors Degree - BSCS, BS MIS, BS CIS etc, or equivalent experience.
Working knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL plus, SQL loader, html, xml.
Working knowledge of different frameworks and design patterns.
Strong Initiative, planning, time management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation and project documentation skills.
Ability to work across NBCU Application, Infrastructure, and Governance organizations
Work in a fast paced environment where deadlines are essential and maintain good communication with the team.
Experience with UML / Visualized software development tools.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of the full software development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, and software development practices such as RUP and Agile methodology.
