| Job Description: |
· Overseeing distribution and warehousing operations through managing our 3PL partners (e.g., day-to-day contract administration, including holding vendors accountable to metrics, conducting periodic business reviews, setting joint improvement goals and efforts, etc.) · Maintaining and developing relationships with current, new and potential service providers · Overcoming road blocks to ensure reception and shipments are made in line with internal and external customers requirements · Supporting Variable Cost Productivity initiatives · Liaising with our Freight Payment providers for shipments paid in local country · Report on overall warehousing and distribution key performance indicators · Short-term, actively supporting and participating in the execution of the EMEA Network Optimization project Qualifications/Requirements · Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering · Minimum 3 years of experience working in logistics, materials management, warehousing and distribution, or supply chain management · Proven business/financial acumen, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, solve complex problems, and drive change at all levels of the organization · Experience of import and export regulatory requirements· Fluent in English and the local language · Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience collaborating across functions, cultures and nationalities · Proven ability to meet deadline in a fast paces changing environment · Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of time Desired Characteristics · MBA or MS in Logistics, Engineering or Supply Chain · Demonstrated logistics leadership of multiple facilities in a similar industry, in particular managing a 3PL, a plus · Excellent project management skills · Ability to energize, develop and influence at all levels within an organization · Proven growth leadership skills demonstrating clear perspective and understanding of factors impacting GEHC businesses and our customers and suppliers |
