Responsibilities:

The role is expected to actively manage the CTSM Penang RPC platform with a view to:


  1. Continuing to demonstrate value addition through superior service delivery

  2. Seeking innovative solutions to drive down the costs of production

  3. Maintaining an effective control and compliance environment in all departments

  4. Ensuring support to implementation of new products and services for TTS in line with business and industry expectations

  5. Formulating RPC strategies as the Receive Manager that support business growth, and

  6. Talent development and grooming of individuals to build a source of O&T talent.

  7. Running a best practices Operations across the entire RPC

  8. Ensuring that there is a strong focus on, and delivery of, high quality customer service reflected in a high degree of Customer Satisfaction for the TTS business.

  9. Partnering with the TTS Business in ensuring RPC resources are appropriately aligned with the requirements of the business.

  10. Providing both, strategic direction and day to day oversight to the Individual Department Managers in the RPC to ensure increased operating efficiency

  11. Proactively balance priorities across all stakeholders over the policies the RPC will follow, and infact connect these into the overall CTSM framework.

  12. Deliver on financial goals, both expenses and FTE.

  13. Ensuring high motivation levels - influencing subordinates and their teams to perform at the highest levels of productivity.

  14. Demonstrating through Voice of the Employee results a high level of work group morale and team spirit while creating a diverse work environment within which individuals can excel.

  15. Developing a vibrant talent pool and pipeline, ensuring skill sets and competencies align to the current and future organisational requirements.

  16. Responsibility for ensuring a robust control, compliance and governance platform is in place throughout the RPC organization, that can adapt rapidly to changes in the regulatory and compliance environment. Maintains satisfactory Audit ratings in all auditable entities.

Requirement:

The successful candidate will fit a profile as follows:


  • Be an experienced manager with at least 15 years banking operations experience .

  • Will have in depth knowledge of Operations & Processes, ideally across multiple Geographies

  • Will have a demonstrable track record in control and compliance, including detailed knowledge of Citi policies and procedures

  • Possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts successfully

  • Track record of strengths in people management and team building

  • Highly developed execution skills in a multi-tasking mode, including the ability to delegate and follow up effectively

  • Excellent negotiation, influence and conflict management skills

  • Must be highly organised and have strong project management skills

  • Able to manage and influence effectively in a matrix environment

  • Skilled in strategic cost management, including detailed knowledge of Citi's budgeting and financial planning processes

  • Recognised change leader
