| Job Description: |
The opening is for a candidate interested in a middle office trade support position with exposure to a broad array of Transaction Products, with responsibility in terms of regulatory and financial control as well as supporting Wealth Management branches and clients. Responsible for training on a trade support product desk and assuming responsibility for a variety of processes within the department. The candidate will complete the daily functions of a Trade Support nalyst on the TFI product desk: - Evaluate risk management procedures with a focus on continuous improvement - Procedure documentation Perform mandatory daily functions of: o P/L calculation o Position reconciliation o Trade corrections o Customer service o Fail control o Risk management o Trade comparison o Trader/Sales support o Cross train on a variety of other products Develop operational knowledge of all Fixed Income products The candidate must be: - Adaptive and flexible - Professional and detail oriented - High level customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written The position will typically require greater than 40 hours per week, heavy phone contact, interaction with all levels of management, communication with Operations groups both within and outside of UBS, frequent joint venture settlements with UBS-IB. Requirements *A minimum of 2 to 3 years recent work experience in a Structured Products Trading Support environment required. *Bachelor's Degree *Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Suite Applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel *Series 7 preferred, but not required *This position requires working with several groups on a variety of issues and the ability to work independently *Must be able to build strong relationships with all key stakeholders and business partners. *Analytical skills, ability to follow tasks through to completion, attention to detail *This positon will typically require greater than 40 work hours per week, heavy phone contact, interaction with all levels of management, communication with Operations groups both within and outside of UBS Our Offering UBS can offer you an environment geared towards performance, attractive career opportunities, and an open corporate culture that values and rewards the contribution of every individual.
