The commercial card market continues to grow rapidly due to constant innovation and a strong value proposition. J.P. Morgan's flagship commercial card management application, PaymentNet, has been instrumental in enabling us to gain our industry-leading position. The Commercial Card Product Delivery Solutions Manager will be responsible for driving initiatives for Commercial Card products and services in the online channel, as well as day-to-day tactical support for Commercial Card Data Management Products. This includes defining and delivering short, medium and long-term initiatives against the product strategy, to optimize the customer experience, Product P&L, shareholder and customer value. These activities will involve working with various groups within the organization and working with cross-functional teams including technology, testing, compliance, and support groups for service and implementations. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, with support analysts and cross-functional teams to enhance our competitiveness and profitability, while improving the satisfaction of our clients. Roles and responsibilities are specific to the Commercial Card group and knowledge of Commercial Card products and treasury services customers is helpful. In general, the Product Strategy Support Manager performs the following functions: Strategy and Planning Drives the creation of the strategic vision for the Card Management system. Includes conducting research and creating Product Roadmaps. Also, helps to create the tactical implementation plans to be incorporated into the annual planning process. Product Development The Solutions Manager drives strategic and tactical initiatives that support the product strategy based on knowledge of the customer segments who use the Card Management system. The Manager understands revenue and expense drivers of the P&L and combines this with strong market and system knowledge to execute initiatives which maximize the performance of the P&L. The Solutions Manager manages product enhancements, system upgrades, maintenance releases and cost saves / reengineering programs. This includes managing the product, process and customer issues that drive shareholder and customer value. As part of these efforts, the Manager will define customer strategy, initiative scope, and business requirements. When requirements are delivered to Technology, the Manager supports definition of Functional requirements, including system reports throughout the design, build and test phases. The Solutions Manager is responsible for reporting, executive communications and escalation within the Commercial Card Senior Leadership team and can demonstrate superior cross-functional alignment and partnership, Solutions Manager proactively anticipate and remove complex barriers, risks and constraints that hinder productivity. The Solutions Manager has the ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional team of, holding their direct team accountable for their goals and supporting the teams professional development. Product Solution Managers lead efforts to ensure that production processes, operations, and customer support services are identified, planned, implemented, and working in conjunction with the product enhancements or upgrades. This includes contributing to and reviewing training materials and processes and procedures. Operations and Support Coordination Product Solutions Manager manage significant client satisfaction or operational issues that arise. They will be direct problem solving in partnership with managers from service and technology, including defining and capturing information where the system as defined does not meet client expectations. The Manager may also support client service calls. In support of this, the Manager identifies data sources, collects requested data, analyzes data as appropriate, and creates performance management reports. The Manager ensures data sources and analysis are correct, revising analysis and identifies new data sources as necessary. Marketing Coordination Collaborates on projects with the Marketing Group. May include directing projects related to market and customer research, product-related performance metrics, online customer experience standards, and marketing programs. Also includes developing sales collateral, product demos and sales training materials and training sales teams. The Manager may also support client sales. Financial Management Supports managers in the creation and management of the financial plan for the product and team projects. Understands the revenue and expense drivers of the P&L and can forecast product usage, working with finance and technology to gather financial information for inclusion in budgets and reporting requests. Undergraduate degree required Typically requires 5 years experience in product management/development with some people management experience preferred with a working knowledge of Commercial Banking Distinctive in 2-3 core product management skills and above average in remaining skills: Analytical/Problem solving abilities Ability to recognize problems and define and assess solutions Ability to collect, organize and analyze information and research Oral and written communications Project management Leadership and talent management Influencing/Negotiations - Ability to direct and influence groups and cross-functional teams Strong interpersonal and team skills Understanding of ERP, reporting and/or file management experience preferred Displays initiative, energy and results orientation
